Measuring cellular shades/honeycomb blinds is simple.

• For inside mount, measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom; use the smallest one. Measure the height of the window frame at the left, center, and right; use the smallest one. Then make sure the width is 0.2" smaller than the window frame width, and the window frame depth is greater than 1 3/16".
• For outside mount, measure the width and height of the window frame. Make sure the width and height are 3-6" longer than the window frame width and height.

• Advantages: Excellent insulation, energy efficiency, noise reduction, and a clean, modern look.

Although cellular shades require more careful cleaning, routine maintenance remains quite convenient. Just use a feather duster, vacuum with a brush attachment, or a soft cloth. For stains, gently spot clean with a damp cloth.

Double-cell (double honeycomb) cellular shades offer the best energy efficiency because they trap more air and provide stronger insulation.

• Blackout cellular shades provide complete privacy, and you cannot see through them.
• Light-filtering cellular shades will provide balanced privacy; you may see some silhouettes at night when interior lights are on.

There is no difference — honeycomb blinds and cellular blinds are two names for the same product, referring to their honeycomb-shaped structure.
